Bloody L65 Max: a lighter shell with the controls kept familiar

The black Bloody L65 Max puts its honeycomb structure beneath a translucent outer shell. You get a view of the construction and lighting while your fingers rest on a continuous surface. At 78 g without the cable, it is a useful option for someone who wants to move away from a heavier mouse without giving up side controls.

Start with sensitivity you can repeat

The BC3332-A 12K optical sensor supports up to 12,000 CPI. That maximum is available when needed; a comfortable everyday setting matters more than using the largest number. Choose a sensitivity that gives you enough desk space for a full turn, then keep it consistent while learning the mouse.

Choose the report rate for your setup

Polling options reach 2,000 Hz, with 125, 500 and 1,000 Hz settings also available. A higher rate sends more frequent movement reports to the PC, but the experience still depends on the game and system. Start at 1,000 Hz and compare the higher setting in the games you actually play.

A cable and feet that deserve desk space

The flexible braided cable and PTFE feet support the lightweight design. Leave a little slack in front of the mouse so the cable does not pull against a wide sweep. The seven-button layout gives access to extra controls without turning the side into a large keypad; Bloody Workshop 8 handles supported customization.

Make the lighting part of your setup

Five preset RGB effects let you change the look beneath the shell. Pick a steady effect if you prefer a quieter desk, then concentrate on the settings you use most.

  • Connect to a USB port and leave cable slack.
  • Set one practical sensitivity before adding more stages.
  • Check that the side buttons sit naturally under your thumb.

The L65 Max suits a wired setup where lower mouse weight and a distinctive surface matter more than wireless freedom.
