The top of an air cooler is often the part you see most clearly through the side panel. AG500 V2 Black makes that surface part of the design, with an illuminated cover above a dark fin stack and a matching ARGB fan at the front.

The lit top cover distinguishes this V2 from the older exposed-tip AG500. It brings colour to the upper face as well as the fan, which is useful when the case’s viewing angle hides much of the front.
Try a single colour shared with the case lighting if you want the tower to sit naturally within the whole build.
Five 6mm heat pipes carry heat into the fin stack, with one 120mm fan moving air through it. This keeps the assembly in a conventional air-cooling layout. Plan intake and exhaust together so the cooler receives fresh air and has somewhere to send it.
Cooling results depend on the processor’s load, power limits and the surrounding airflow; a heat-pipe count alone is not a temperature prediction.

Use the overall 160mm height when checking case compatibility, rather than the bare heatsink measurement. Check RAM clearance with the fan in its intended position, especially if you use tall modules.
The PWM and ARGB cables have separate jobs. Connect the fan to CPU_FAN and the 3-pin lighting cable to a compatible 5V ARGB header or controller.
AG500 V2 is a fitting choice when you want the CPU area to carry the lighting theme while retaining a single-tower arrangement.
