A quick mute should not need a trip through a settings menu. Cloud Stinger 2 uses a microphone that mutes when you swivel it upward, alongside an earcup volume control. This black wired headset keeps the everyday actions simple, with 50mm drivers and a 3.5mm connection aimed primarily at PC use.

Controls that stay easy to find

The attached microphone follows a simple physical action: down for a conversation, up for mute. Before your first team session, make a recording to confirm the correct input and find a comfortable microphone position. Noise reduction is intended to help voice pickup, not to remove every nearby sound.

Volume is adjusted on the earcup. Start low when switching between a quiet voice call and a louder game; application volumes may differ even when the headset control stays in the same position.

A familiar analogue connection

The four-pole CTIA 3.5mm plug carries sound and microphone signals. A PC splitter is included for separate audio and microphone ports. On other devices, compatibility depends on their support for this combined headset connection.

The 50mm drivers work as a stereo headset without a battery or wireless pairing. Compatible DTS Headphone:X software adds an optional spatial mode on PC; it should be evaluated separately from any similar effect already enabled in the game.

Rotating cups and a 275g frame

Cloud Stinger 2 weighs 275g and uses memory-foam cushions with a leatherette covering. The earcups rotate through 90 degrees, which is useful when setting the headset down between sessions. Adjust the headband so the cushions surround your ears rather than resting unevenly on them.

A good seal changes how bass is perceived. If the sound feels different on each side, check the fit and cable connection before trying to compensate with EQ.
