The wired HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 keeps the shell closed while bringing the mouse weight to about 53 g, excluding the cable. The result is a straightforward six-button design for players who make broad movements and want little mass under the hand. This is the black wired version, powered directly through USB.

A light mouse needs a comfortable grip

Low weight is useful only if the shape sits well in your hand. The solid shell gives your fingertips a continuous contact surface, and the supplied grip tape lets you add texture where you need it. Try the bare surface first, then apply the tape deliberately rather than covering areas you do not touch.

Choose how often it reports movement

The HyperX 26K optical sensor supports up to 26,000 DPI. Polling reaches 8,000 Hz, while the default is 1,000 Hz. The higher setting sends updates more frequently and can increase system workload; choose it according to your PC and games. Consistent sensitivity is still more useful than constantly changing DPI.

Keep the cable out of the movement

The 1.8 m HyperFlex 2 cable and PTFE feet complement the light body. Let the cable bend freely in front of the mouse and keep the pad clear. Spare skates are included for later maintenance. The six programmable buttons and RGB wheel can be configured through supported HyperX NGENUITY software.

Set it up for the games you play

HyperX specifies its mechanical switches for up to 100 million clicks, a component endurance rating rather than a promise about any individual unit. The practical choice remains the combination of shape, weight and accessible controls.
