The G2711P gives a fast Full HD gaming setup a larger screen to work with. Its flat 27-inch IPS panel suits players who prefer a broad picture, while the 200Hz maximum refresh rate gives the display room to follow a high-frame-rate PC.
At 1920 × 1080, a 27-inch screen makes game elements and interface text physically larger than on a smaller Full HD display at the same scaling. It does not add the fine detail of QHD, so leave a comfortable distance between your seat and the panel.
IPS viewing characteristics help keep colours consistent when you shift position. The specified 300 cd/m² brightness is best adjusted to your room rather than left at maximum.
Connect the monitor, then select the intended refresh rate in the operating system. Adaptive Sync helps coordinate the display with a compatible graphics source when frame rates change.
The advertised 1ms GtG figure uses overdrive. Compare response settings during play and choose a balance between trails and overshoot; that figure is not a promise of 1ms total input latency.
Two HDMI 2.0 inputs and DisplayPort 1.4 allow more than one source to remain connected. Use the 3.5 mm audio output or your PC for headphones and external speakers; this monitor has no speakers of its own.
The included stand provides −5° to +20° tilt. Its 75 × 75 mm VESA mounting supports a suitable separate monitor arm if you need adjustable height.
