The G2722P combines a detailed 27-inch desktop with a high refresh ceiling, but its stand is just as useful as its speed. Height adjustment and portrait rotation let you position the panel for work, then return to a comfortable landscape view for gaming.
The native 2560 × 1440 resolution provides more desktop space than Full HD. It suits games with detailed environments and everyday work where you want text and interface elements to remain well defined.
The Fast IPS panel also keeps viewing angles practical when you move in your chair. Its 200Hz ceiling is a display capability; the frame rate still depends on your PC and game settings.
The manual specifies QHD at up to 200Hz over DisplayPort 1.4. The two HDMI 2.0 inputs reach QHD at 144Hz, so choose the connection before judging the available settings.
Adaptive Sync can reduce tearing with compatible hardware. Start with a moderate overdrive setting and compare moving objects before selecting the fastest response mode.
There is 100 mm of height adjustment, −5° to +20° tilt and ±90° portrait rotation. Raise the panel before rotating it so the edge clears the desk. The supplied stand does not swivel horizontally.
A 75 × 75 mm VESA arm is another option. Audio needs headphones or external speakers: a 3.5 mm output is provided, but speakers are not built in.
The G2722P is a useful fit for a shared work-and-gaming desk. HDR400 support is available, while the adjustable position and QHD resolution remain useful even when you are simply reading or browsing.
