OLED changes the way a dark scene looks because each pixel produces its own light. The S2721XO combines that panel technology with 27-inch QHD resolution and 240Hz, making it especially relevant to a gaming desk where motion and contrast both matter.
Unlike an LCD that relies on a backlight, OLED can turn individual pixels off. This helps bright interface elements and highlights stand apart from dark backgrounds without the same backlight behaviour.
The monitor supports HDR True Black 400. The manual's 280 cd/m² brightness entry is not a claim that every HDR scene or highlight is limited to that figure; brightness depends on the content and operating mode.
Koorui specifies a 0.03ms pixel response and a maximum 240Hz refresh rate. The first concerns how pixels change; the second is how often the screen can update. Neither number represents the whole PC's input delay.
Adaptive Sync helps align refreshes with a compatible graphics source. Use native 2560 × 1440 and choose the refresh mode explicitly in your computer's settings.
The stand provides 110 mm of height travel, tilt, portrait rotation and horizontal swivel. That flexibility makes it easier to change posture or share a quick view without moving the whole base.
Two HDMI 2.1 inputs, DisplayPort 1.4 and an audio output cover common gaming connections. Speakers are not built in. A separate 100 × 100 mm VESA arm is also an option.
