Some desks need one keyboard that can move from a spreadsheet to a game without changing habits. The G213 keeps a full-size layout and adds useful controls above the keys, with a built-in palm rest along the front. It is a practical wired option if you want backlighting and gaming features with a membrane key feel.

Logitech's Mech-Dome keys use a membrane mechanism with a full-height press. They are designed to provide a more defined response than a basic office keyboard while keeping a softer sound profile. They are not individual hot-swap mechanical switches, so choose the G213 for the feel it already offers rather than future switch changes.
LIGHTSYNC RGB divides the illumination into five customizable zones. You can coordinate the keyboard with other compatible Logitech gear or keep a single restrained theme. This is zone-based lighting rather than independent colour selection for every key; it works well when your goal is a coherent overall appearance.

Dedicated media buttons let you adjust audio without leaving the current application. The number pad is useful for work, and the integrated palm rest gives your hands a place to pause between inputs. Together they make a large footprint, so measure the available desk depth as well as the width.
Connect the USB cable, choose a comfortable angle and use G HUB if you want deeper customization. The spill-resistant construction is a useful precaution, not an invitation to keep liquids beside the keys.
