Peerless Assassin 120 SE White: two towers with a lower profile

Peerless Assassin 120 SE brings the six-heat-pipe, twin-tower arrangement into a 155mm-high format. This white version adds ARGB fans, so the cooling hardware can follow a bright colour scheme inside a windowed case.

Give both towers room

Six 6mm heat pipes connect the base to the two fin stacks. One fan sits at the front and another between the towers. This layout occupies more of the CPU area than a narrow single tower, so check the surrounding components early.

Plug in motherboard cables that will be difficult to reach later. It is usually easier to route them before the cooler blocks your fingers.

Check the 155mm height with your RAM

The specified cooler height is 155mm, but tall RAM may require the front fan to sit higher. Use that final position when comparing the assembly with the case clearance.

Leave room to release the fan clips for cleaning. Also check the distance to any top exhaust fans, which can make an otherwise simple maintenance job awkward.

Two ARGB fans, one coordinated look

The white ARGB fans provide colour across both towers. Their lighting uses separate 3-pin 5V connections, while PWM handles speed. Keep the cable routing clear of both fans and use a consistent airflow direction.

A shared colour with the case lighting makes the larger cooler feel like part of the whole system.
