Peerless Assassin 120 White places two fin stacks and two fans across the CPU area. The white covers and plain white fans suit a coordinated light build without introducing another lighting effect.
Six 6mm heat pipes connect the base to the two fin stacks. One fan sits at the front and another between the towers. This layout occupies more of the CPU area than a narrow single tower, so check the surrounding components early.
Plug in motherboard cables that will be difficult to reach later. It is usually easier to route them before the cooler blocks your fingers.
The specified cooler height is 157mm, but tall RAM may require the front fan to sit higher. Use that final position when comparing the assembly with the case clearance.
Leave room to release the fan clips for cleaning. Also check the distance to any top exhaust fans, which can make an otherwise simple maintenance job awkward.
The included fans use PWM control without ARGB lighting. Set their response through the motherboard and keep both moving air along the same route toward the case exhaust.
Choose a moderate curve first. More fan speed can be useful during sustained work, but rapid changes during light tasks may be unnecessary.
Consider this model when your case has room for a dual tower and you prefer conventional air cooling with accessible, replaceable fans.
