Phanteks XT View: a clear view with room behind the glass

A display case needs more than a good viewing angle. The black Phanteks XT View gives the front and side of your PC a near-continuous glass surround, while leaving useful space for cooling, a long graphics card and the cables that connect it all. It suits a build you want to see on the desk and still be able to work on later.

Glass front and side panels frame the three supplied D-RGB fans.

Start with the cooling hardware

Three M25-120 D-RGB fans are included. A dedicated top mount supports a radiator up to 360mm, while the midplate offers three 120mm fan positions beneath the graphics card. These locations give you options for directing air through the system rather than simply filling every opening with another fan.

Choose intake and exhaust directions as part of the build plan. Leave the outside vents clear of a wall or desk panel, and tune fan speed after checking temperatures during your normal workload.

Measure the complete graphics card installation

Phanteks lists 415mm of GPU length clearance and 184mm for an air CPU cooler. Compare those limits with your exact parts, then allow room for power connectors and their cable bends. A card's advertised length is only one part of the fit.

The rear compartment keeps cable routing separate from the glass-facing view.

Keep the visible side deliberate

Route cables behind the motherboard before fitting the glass. The built-in D-RGB controller lets you choose lighting effects without software; a restrained colour scheme can make the component shapes easier to see. The front USB-C 3.2 Gen2 connection also deserves a check against your motherboard's internal headers before assembly.

Before the first power-on

  • Check GPU, CPU cooler and radiator dimensions together.
  • Plan fan direction and keep loose cables away from blades.
  • Connect the front USB and audio cables before closing the rear panel.
  • Test lighting and cooling before replacing the glass.

The XT View is a useful starting point when you want glass-panel presentation, supplied lighting and enough room to arrange the build carefully. Choose the parts around the available mounting space, then let the finished layout provide the visual detail.
