The single-player story connects races with earning and improving your garage. Police pursuits add pressure around the competition, so getting to the next safe stop can matter as much as the result on the finish line.

One local driver, a wider online city

The game has one local player and no split-screen racing. Lakeshore Online supports up to 16 players and requires internet, an EA account and PlayStation Plus on PS5. Its progression is separate from the solo story.
