Kaira follows the white-and-black PlayStation look, with blue details and a fixed microphone. Its USB-C wireless receiver handles compatible gaming devices, while Bluetooth gives it another role with a phone. This is the original Kaira for PlayStation model, with 50mm TriForce drivers and a 30-hour stated battery life.

Connect the console, then set up the phone

The 2.4GHz receiver is the main gaming connection for supported PlayStation and PC use. Pair Bluetooth separately with a compatible mobile device. SmartSwitch manages the change between the receiver and Bluetooth when needed, rather than combining both sources into a shared mix.

On the console, check the output device and microphone level after connecting. Leave enough space around the receiver so nearby plugs or the console’s position do not put pressure on it.

Hear your own voice at a useful level

The bendable HyperClear cardioid microphone remains attached to the headset. A sidetone control lets you adjust how much of your own voice you hear, which can help keep speaking volume natural when the earcups cover your ears.

Use a short voice test to choose the microphone position and sidetone level. The headset also offers EQ presets, so you can compare its sound options without changing every individual frequency band.

Fabric cushions and a full-size frame

FlowKnit-covered foam cushions provide the contact surface around your ears. The headset weighs 332g, so even headband adjustment is worthwhile before a longer session. The 50mm TriForce drivers sit inside the cups; their construction is separate from any spatial audio your console provides.

Battery life is rated up to 30 hours and varies with settings and use. Charge through USB-C between sessions. Keeping a regular charging spot near the console is often more convenient than waiting for a low-battery interruption.
