The Razer Naga X keeps a twelve-button thumb grid in an 85 g wired body. It is designed for players who want a row of abilities close to the mouse hand, with a shaped right-hand shell and support for the ring finger. The fixed panel keeps the same layout every time you sit down.

Sixteen programmable buttons include the twelve numbered side buttons. Map supported actions through Razer Synapse, grouping similar functions by row or column. A familiar pattern across characters can reduce the time spent relearning controls. Begin with a few positions and expand the layout as it becomes comfortable.
The 85 g body gives you a full set of thumb controls without the mass of some larger modular designs. Fit still depends on your hand: check whether the farthest buttons can be pressed while the main fingers stay relaxed. The side grid is fixed rather than replaceable.

The Razer 5G Advanced Optical Sensor supports up to 18,000 DPI, with a 1,000 Hz report rate. Gen-2 optical switches handle the main clicks. Supported DPI and key assignments can be stored onboard; configure the mouse before relying on those settings on another computer.
A 1.8 m Speedflex cable supplies power and data, while Chroma RGB gives the wheel and thumb area a visible accent. Route the cable with room to move across the whole pad.
The Naga X is a strong fit for an MMO setup where a permanent twelve-button grid is more useful than changing side panels or managing a battery.
