Razer Ornata V3 X: a lower profile for work and evening games

The Ornata V3 X keeps a full keyboard layout while lowering the height of the keys. It suits a desk used for writing, number entry and gaming in the same day. Membrane keys and a detachable wrist rest give this US-layout model a different feel from the taller mechanical keyboards in Razer's range.

Keep the number pad for everyday jobs

Dedicated arrows, navigation keys and a number pad keep common commands in familiar places. That helps if you switch between a game, a document and a spreadsheet. Allow space for the mouse as well: a full-size keyboard extends farther to the right than a compact TKL model.

Soft membrane feedback

The V3 X uses membrane keys, with a softer press than a clicky mechanical switch. Its low-profile keycaps can feel familiar if you prefer a flatter typing position. Adjust the keyboard angle and your chair height together rather than relying on the wrist rest to correct an awkward desk setup.

One lighting zone, a consistent look

Chroma RGB controls a single lighting zone across this model. You can change the overall colour and supported effects, rather than assigning a separate colour to every key. The UV-coated ABS keycaps and black finish keep the appearance restrained when you turn the brightness down.

Make the space comfortable

The plastic wrist rest is detachable, so try the keyboard with and without it. USB provides both power and data through the attached cable. Media commands use keyboard shortcuts; there is no separate media-control panel.
