Snowman CS087W: a white tower with an open view

Snowman CS087W surrounds the main compartment with a white frame and front-and-side glass. It is a useful foundation for a coordinated white PC, with space to arrange fans around the components rather than hiding the system behind an opaque front.

A panoramic view in a tower shape

The glass front and side expose the main component area while the lower shroud gives it a defined base. This layout puts the graphics card and CPU cooler at the centre of the view. Keeping their cables tidy makes a visible difference when the PC sits beside a monitor.

Plan around the case footprint

The manufacturer’s dimensions are 435mm long, 215mm wide and 495mm high. Measure the space on or under your desk with extra room for the rear cables and ventilation. The case supports ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboard formats.

Motherboard format alone does not confirm the fit of every component. Check graphics-card length, its power connector and the clearance required by your chosen cooler together.

Nine fan positions to work with

The CS087 provides up to nine 120mm fan positions: three at the top, three at the bottom, two beside the front glass and one at the rear. It also supports a top-mounted 360mm radiator for an AIO configuration.

Fans are not included. Decide where fresh air will enter and where warm air will leave before choosing fan models. Keep radiator tubes and cables clear of the airflow path.

Build a system that is easy to live with

A full row of illuminated fans is an appearance choice, not a requirement for every PC. Choose enough cooling for your components, then tune fan speeds around your normal use. Leave the top and side ventilation areas unobstructed.

  • Measure the available desk space.
  • Check the complete radiator-and-fan assembly.
  • Include fans in the build budget.
