The 27-inch Samsung Odyssey G51C pairs a flat QHD screen with a stand that can be adjusted around your sitting position. It is a practical step up from Full HD when you want more detail in games and more working space on the desktop, without moving to an ultrawide format.

QHD fits more pixels into the screen than 1920 × 1080. That helps with fine scenery and readable desktop detail, although games also ask more of the graphics card at the native resolution. The VA panel has a specified 3000:1 static contrast ratio and 300 cd/m² typical brightness.
HDR10 support allows compatible HDR signals. It should not be treated as a promise of the brightness or contrast performance of a premium HDR display.
The monitor supports up to 165 Hz, with AMD FreeSync Premium to help match refresh timing to a compatible graphics output. Select the higher refresh rate in the operating system after connecting it; simply plugging in a high-refresh monitor may leave the system at a lower setting.
Samsung's 1 ms figure is MPRT, a motion-clarity measure under specified conditions. It is not a measurement of the complete delay from mouse input to screen.

The stand provides 120 mm of height travel, tilt, swivel and pivot. That is useful for aligning the top of the screen with a second display or switching to portrait work. A 100 × 100 mm VESA mounting pattern also supports a suitable separate arm.
Two HDMI 2.0 inputs and one DisplayPort 1.4 input accommodate several sources. There is a headphone output, but no built-in speaker system.
G51C suits a mixed gaming-and-work desk where QHD detail and stand adjustment both matter.
