Redragon Fizz Black RGB: let the light through

Fizz Black RGB makes the lighting part of the keyboard's construction. The dark transparent body and keycaps let colour spread beyond the legends, giving this compact board a distinctive appearance. The supplied English US version uses a 61-key layout and linear mechanical switches, with a USB cable for both power and data.

A small layout with a learning curve

The 60% format removes the separate number pad, function row and arrow cluster. Secondary combinations handle the commands that no longer have their own keys. It is useful when mouse space matters, but check how often your everyday work relies on arrows or F-keys before choosing this size.

Linear switches, room to experiment

Crystal mechanical switches provide a smooth press without a tactile bump. The hot-swap design accepts compatible mechanical switches, giving you a route to change the feel later. Disconnect the keyboard before swapping, check pin alignment and never force a switch into the socket.

Transparent surfaces change the lighting

The polycarbonate keycaps have UV-printed legends, with RGB visible through the surrounding material. Try a steady colour before experimenting with animated effects; it gives you a clear baseline for readability. Keep the surface clean with a soft cloth, and avoid harsh cleaners that could affect the finish or printed characters.

Pack it without stressing the connector

The detachable USB-C cable makes it easier to separate the keyboard from the rest of your desk. Unplug it before putting the board in a bag, and reconnect without pulling sideways on the port.

  • Set the operating-system layout to English US.
  • Learn your frequently used Fn combinations.
  • Check switch compatibility before buying replacements.

Fizz Black RGB suits someone who wants a visibly different compact keyboard and is comfortable trading dedicated navigation keys for extra desk space.
