A headset can stay part of your setup long after the computer or console changes. The black-and-red Cloud Alpha uses a familiar 3.5mm connection, a detachable microphone and a detachable audio cable. It suits a desk where the same pair handles games, music and voice chat without a charging routine.
Inside each earcup, the 50mm driver uses a dual-chamber design that separates bass from the mid and high frequencies. This is an acoustic construction choice, not a virtual Surround Sound mode. You can use ordinary stereo output without installing headset software.
For dialogue-heavy games or music, start with your device’s normal sound profile. If you change the EQ, make small adjustments rather than increasing every band together.
The four-pole 3.5mm plug carries headphone audio and microphone input together. The included splitter separates those signals for a PC with individual headphone and microphone sockets. Compatible console controllers and mobile devices can use a suitable combined jack.
The cable’s inline controls keep volume and microphone mute within reach. Neither the detachable cable nor the microphone needs to remain attached when you store the headset; remove them by the connector instead of pulling the wire.
Memory-foam cushions with a leatherette finish and a padded aluminium frame define the fit. Adjust both sides so the cushions sit evenly around your ears. Glasses, hairstyle and head shape can all affect the seal and perceived bass.
The removable microphone is useful when moving from a team session to listening alone. Position it beside your mouth and make a short voice recording before joining a call. Its noise reduction helps voice pickup, but it does not make a noisy room silent.
