Logitech G733 Blue: wireless audio with a lighter-feeling fit

The blue G733 uses a suspension strap beneath its headband to spread the contact across the top of your head. At 278g, it pairs that design with LIGHTSPEED wireless audio and front-facing RGB strips. It is intended for a desk or console with space for its USB receiver, rather than Bluetooth pairing with a phone.

Keep the USB receiver in the plan

LIGHTSPEED carries the audio through the supplied USB-A receiver. USB-C is used for charging; this model does not offer Bluetooth or an analogue 3.5mm listening connection. Check the available ports if your laptop only has USB-C.

PC, Mac and PS4 are listed platforms, but the software features are not identical on each one. Choose the headset as both playback and recording device after connecting the receiver.

Separate the fit from the lighting

The reversible suspension strap and memory-foam ear cushions are the main contact points. Adjust the headset so the strap carries it evenly and the pads sit around your ears. The two front lighting zones can then be configured through compatible Logitech G HUB software.

Lighting also affects battery life. Logitech quotes up to 29 hours with lighting off, or 20 hours with its default lighting, measured at 50% volume. Actual time depends on settings and use; keep the charging cable somewhere reachable between sessions.

A removable microphone with software options

The detachable 6mm cardioid microphone keeps voice chat available when needed and can be removed for listening. Blue VO!CE processing in G HUB offers microphone adjustments on supported systems. Start with a short recording and add processing only where it helps your voice.

The 40mm PRO-G drivers also support optional DTS Headphone:X 2.0 processing through compatible software. Surround Sound effects are software features, not extra physical speakers inside the cups. Compare them with stereo using familiar game audio.
