Snowman CS078: a geometric front for a compact motherboard

Snowman CS078 uses an angular black front to give a Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX build a distinctive outline. The side window keeps the hardware visible, and the top connection panel puts everyday ports within reach. You choose the fans that complete its appearance and cooling.

The front gives the case its character

The repeated angled lines across the front form the CS078’s most recognisable feature. They frame the intake area while the tempered-glass side keeps the interior visible. If you add illuminated fans, their light becomes part of that front pattern; the fans themselves are a separate purchase.

Build around Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX

This chassis supports Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards. Snowman specifies a graphics-card length limit of 320mm and a CPU-cooler height limit of 160mm. Match the actual dimensions of your chosen parts before committing to the case.

The lower PSU area separates the power supply from the main view. Route the graphics-card and motherboard power cables early so their final bends do not crowd the visible compartment.

Cooling that you can choose yourself

The case supports a 240mm radiator at the top and a 120mm radiator at the rear. Its 120mm fan positions are distributed across the front, top, bottom and rear, with up to eight positions in total.

Fans are not included. Pick an intake and exhaust arrangement around the heat produced by your system. Check radiator thickness and nearby RAM clearance, then adjust fan speeds after testing your normal workload.

Keep everyday connections within reach

One USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports and headphone and microphone connections sit on the top panel. This position is convenient when the top of the case remains easy to reach.
