Valkyrie A240: a straightforward route to a coordinated liquid-cooled PC

If you are moving from a tower air cooler to an AIO, a two-fan layout is a useful place to begin planning. The A240 keeps that arrangement in a black finish with visible ARGB accents. The Valkyrie A240 brings the radiator, fans and pump into one visual theme without asking you to plan around a three-fan radiator. It is a 240mm all-in-one cooler for a build where you want the cooling setup to look intentional and remain understandable to assemble.

A12 fans and a curve you can make your own

Two 120mm A12 ARGB fans move air through the radiator. Their specified PWM range is 800–1800 RPM, giving you a defined range to work with when setting the response to temperature.

Try a gradual curve during your everyday workload before changing everything for a stress test. A PC that spends time browsing, gaming and working benefits from a response that suits those sessions. Case airflow and room temperature still influence how fast the fans need to run.

The finishing touch above the processor

The round ARGB pump top rotates through 360 degrees. Once the pump is mounted and the tubes are routed, you can align its visible design with the rest of the build. That is particularly useful if you care about how the PC looks through a side panel.

The black finish gives the illuminated details a clear contrast. Lighting can then provide the accent: a single colour for a calmer look, or a shared effect across compatible components.

Why the shorter radiator can be the right starting point

A 240mm radiator needs two 120mm fan positions, but the complete assembly occupies more space than bare fans. Check the mounting area, nearby motherboard components and room for the tubes. If you already own the case, measure before selecting the cooler.

An AIO also changes how you plan the interior: the block sits on the CPU and the radiator occupies another part of the case. Decide that route early to avoid crossing cables over the components you want to keep visible.

Choose it for the whole build

  • Fit: a confirmed 240mm radiator location with sufficient thickness clearance.
  • Compatibility: the correct mounting hardware for your CPU socket.
  • Connections: PWM fan control and a compatible 5V ARGB connection.

The A240 is a sensible model to consider when you want liquid cooling in a two-fan format with a coordinated finish. Match it to your processor's requirements and case layout, then refine the fan settings after assembly.
